Ladies, you are invited to join us on Saturday, 10/17 for a cozy morning of warm drinks, connection, and a blind book exchange!
Meet us at 9:30 AM at the Pavilion at Chapel Gate Park: 57 Park View Dr., Reinholds.
Instructions for the Optional Book Exchange [Arrive by 10 AM to participate!]
- Choose a book that you are finished with - can be from your shelf, a friend, a thrift store, etc. Please choose books that are appropriate for our church community and suitable for a broad range of readers.
- If you're willing, include a little card with your name inside the book so the reader can let you know what they thought of the book!
- Wrap it with paper you can write on (brown paper bags work great).
- At the event, our bookshelf will have some general categories (like fiction vs non-fiction). Include some other "clues" that might guide ladies selecting books - words that describe the topic, ideal audience, setting, time period, main characters, etc. (without giving the book away!)
Drinks, pastries and a bookmark craft are included! Please let us know you're coming HERE.
