Why We Give
Biblical generosity is not about meeting budget needs. It's about a rich and trusting relationship with a living God. We express our faith and love to him by honoring him as the source of everything we have. Scriptural giving is performed with regularity, from the first portion of all we have been given—cheerfully, and without pressure or manipulation.
What is Tithing?
Tithing is a starting point in giving. The Bible establishes a baseline standard for giving: the tithe, which literally means “a tenth.” When we give the first 10% of our income through the local church, we prioritize God in our lives. Tithing is an act of worship that expresses our gratitude, faith, and love for others. God also encourages us to give offerings beyond our tithe to support the needs of others, as well as organizations and causes we personally believe in.

PushPay engages with a third-party assessor annually to validate that our systems are implemented securely and comply with the PCI Data Security Standard. Components of this program include third-party penetration tests, vulnerability scanning, patching, security incident management, daily log review, alerts for critical events, and much more.
