Men's Story Group
Leader: Kyle Zemeski
Location: Kyle's Home in Adamstown
Date: Every other Tuesday starting January 27th (8 meetings total)
Description: Inviting men into healing when the hidden and dark places get to be seen by trusted men. We all have stories, and they have given us perspective in which we live out our lives. The trauma experienced in our past has impacted the way we see, interpret, and interact with others. It also has made a huge difference in our internal dialogue. There is an old saying, "Hurt people, Hurt people"... so how do we stop that cycle? One of the goals of this group is to receive care in the places that have been painful and traumatic. To let what we experienced be seen, heard, and known and to help the little boy grow into the man that God has designed you to be. You were never designed to carry that alone!
This Story Group will be a safe place where each person agrees to hold and not share what they hear in the group. We will each write a childhood story and will have the opportunity to read the story to others that have chosen to participate. There is healing in witnessing what others experienced as well as allowing others to be present in our own story.
