Who will you find at Cocalico Community Church?
We are broken people who desire to authentically follow Christ. Because our lives are messy, at CCC we provide a place to investigate Christianity, experience true biblical community and wrestle with the daily struggle of following Christ.
What are the services like?
We keep things pretty simple at CCC. You will find a casual atmosphere, people from all walks of life and faith journeys, and a service that's crafted to help you experience the truth, grace, and love of Jesus. We've got talented musicians and vocalists who are passionate about making much of Jesus - not themselves. It's not intended to be a show or entertainment, but rather worship of the One who created the very instruments and voices we use to worship Him. The music has a modern sound and meaningful, memorable lyrics to help us connect in worship with God, and prepare our hearts for hearing God's Word. The teaching is practical and biblically-based. Sometimes we explore a book of the Bible, sometimes it's a specific topic, and sometimes we focus on life issues such as relationships or finances. To check out a past message, click here.
What do I wear?
We’re casual, so come as you are. Wear what you are comfortable in – jeans, dresses, khakis, shorts – and no one will think differently of you.
What about my kids?
At CCC we desire to partner with parents to help kids develop their faith. We do this by providing engaging environments in which kids learn the truth of God’s Word and how to live it out each day. Our family ministry is well staffed with volunteers who love kids and have been screened to ensure the safest possible place for them. On Sunday mornings we provide the following kids’ environments: Mogoland (Infant through crawlers, walkers through age 2, and age 3-5) and Studio 252 (kindergarten-4th grade). All of these meet during both the 9 am and 10:45 am services. Route 56 (5th & 6th grades) meets during the 10:45 am service.
On your first visit, your kids will have the opportunity to check in at our family ministry check-in area. Look for the New Check-in sign when you arrive and one of our volunteers will help you get started!
